Anne Zahalkas serial, Welcome to Sydney was commissioned and situated near the universal Terminal of the Sydney Airport, the year 2003. This is a serial of photographs of foreign cram settling in various locations around Sydney including the well sleep together landmark, the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This series reflects Sydneys multicultural identity and the get of other cultures and backgrounds. The title itself expresses that every people, either cultures are and should culture welcome as they arrive to Sydney. Zahalka invited the models in her photographs to bring in significant objects that were special to them and their culture, some were also get dressed in their traditional clothing.
